

Vasylyna Bezherianu
She was born in 1994.
Education:
Studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, specialising in scenography and film scenography. Headed by Liudmyla Nagorna.
Main implemented art projects:
participant in the exhibitions of the project ‘Ukrainian Theatre Costume of the XX-XXI Centuries: Identity, Context, Landscape’ (2024): gallery of the Dzyga Art Centre (Lviv), Museum of Theatre, Music and Cinema (Kyiv). The project is supported by the UCF and the Ukrainian Institute. Vasilina Bezherianu presented four costumes for the educational project based on the tragedy Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. These are 4 characters - Romeo, Juliet and their mothers. The sketches were created using the collage technique. The Capulet family's clothes are decorated in red, and the Montague family's in grey. These colours harmoniously complement the background material (weathered wood).
